Sculptra is a poly-L-lactic acid injectable that is very different from dermal fillers. Sculptra helps you gradually restore the collagen that you had naturally in your mid and lower face. Sculptra is best utilized in individuals who are in the 40-60 age range.
Sculptra works by stimulating collagen growth and while results are not immediate they can last longer than the other fillers.
Upon completion after a series of injections (typically 3-4 sessions) every 6 weeks, results should last up to 2 years. After injection, it can take 45-90 days to see the full results. Maintenance injections are usually performed every 2 years.
